Downloading WordPress using Linux Command Line

Step 1: Install Wget and Unzip

sudo mv wordpress /var/www/html/

This command moves the WordPress files to the web server root directory which is /var/www/html/ in most cases.

Step 5: Configure WordPress

To configure WordPress, copy the wp-config-sample.php file to wp-config.php using the following command:

cd /var/www/html/wordpress/ cp wp-config-sample.php wp-config.php

Then, edit the wp-config.php file and add the appropriate credentials for your MySQL database.
